Free country-specific resume builder
The right resume for every country.
A resume that wins interviews in Chicago gets rejected in Munich, and vice versa. Pick your target country, fill one form, and download a resume built to that country's real hiring rules: photo or no photo, one page or three, Lebenslauf to rirekisho.

The right resume for the right country is what turns applications into offers.
Three steps. No sign-up.
The whole site is one page; everything you need is right below.
-
1
Pick your target country
Each country card loads its real conventions: length, photo rules, personal details, date formats and the mistakes that get resumes binned.
-
2
Fill in your details once
The form adapts to the country: Germany asks for a photo and birth date, the US hides both. Your data autosaves in your browser as you type.
-
3
Download a print-ready PDF
A live A4 preview updates as you type. One click opens your browser's PDF dialog. Save it and apply.

Questions, answered
Why does the country matter so much?
Because conventions are opposites. A photo is expected on a German Lebenslauf and gets your resume auto-rejected in the US. Australia wants 2–3 pages; France wants one. Japan wants a standardized form with no achievements on it. Sending the wrong format signals you don't know the market, often before anyone reads a word.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. GlobeResume runs entirely in your browser. Your details and photo are saved to your browser's local storage on your own device and never sent to a server. Clear them anytime with the “Clear all” button.
How do I get the PDF?
Click “Download PDF”. Your browser's print dialog opens; choose “Save as PDF” as the destination. The output is a clean A4 document with none of the website around it.
Will these pass ATS screening?
The US, Canada, UK, Australia, India and Gulf templates are single-column with standard headings and no graphics, exactly what ATS parsers want. Where a photo is included (Germany, Gulf), it's because human recruiters in those markets expect it.
What about Japan's second document?
Japan uses two documents: the standardized rirekisho (which this builder generates) and a free-format shokumukeirekisho for your achievements. A shokumukeirekisho generator is on the Pro roadmap.
Can I change the colours and fonts?
Yes. Pick an accent colour (including plain black & white) and one of three font styles in the builder. The options are deliberately curated so every combination stays recruiter-safe and ATS-parsable: colour and type change, the single-column layout never does. Japan is the exception: the rirekisho is a standardized form, so its design is fixed.
Is it really free right now?
Yes. During early access the full builder, every country and every design is free. Free downloads carry a small “Made with GlobeResume” mark in the bottom corner; the $4.99 Job Hunt Pack (4 downloads, any countries) and the $9.99 Global Pass (unlimited for a year) remove it once payments go live.
Can I download in Word format?
Yes. Next to “PDF” there's a “Word” button that saves a .doc file you can open and edit in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice. The PDF preserves the exact layout you see in the preview; the Word version is deliberately simplified so it stays easy to edit and uploads cleanly to job portals that ask for Word files.
